The Holidays are Here.
Is this going to be another year of hiding behind clothes or even kids, that camouflage? Running from cameras? Will you be the one all covered up, sitting on the sidelines, avoiding all the fun, silently cursing your fat body?
If you’re feeling paralyzed at the prospect of people judging you, you’re not alone. But I have great news for you. You don’t have to be ashamed of your body anymore.
You don’t have to let your insecurities get the best of you. I’m here to help show you how you can transform your body shame to feeling sassy.
Let me ask you-
Have you ever called yourself nasty names?
- Disgusting Pig?
- Fat Ass?
- Garbage Gut?
Nasty little stingers. Maybe you justify it as joking around and you think it’s harmless and doesn’t hurt you, but you’re dead wrong. Heck. I’m guilty of doing it too for so many years.
If you’ve ever been bullied, teased or shamed for being fat, you know that it leaves emotional scars. It may have dug so deep and hurt you so badly that you’ve become your own worst enemy.
When you call yourself names, you end up feeling ugly and fat, no matter what size you are. And you can drag that burden of hurt and shame around forever unless you’re ready to let it go.
I know what that’s like feeling constantly embarrassed by my fat thighs and using trash talk as a means of motivating myself to do anything.
Years ago before I made the decision to stop dieting and committed to loving my body, I would have died before I revealed my fat thighs to anyone. But I’ve lived under the shadow of body shame and disrespecting myself for too many years.
Not how I operate anymore. Now no matter what size I am, I treat my body with love and kindness and talk to myself like a friend.
As a result I feel sexy at every size and I’m ready to share with you how, you can transform your body shame to sass so that you can take back your power from your inner critic and claim your confidence too.
In my work with women I give them tools to transform their body shame to body sass so that they can feel sexy at every size. No more shame. No more blame.
